Facts of Sharad Kelkar


Sharad Kelkar a famous name in the film and television industry. He started as a fitness trainer, there on continuing with modelling, hosting, and acting in the television & film industries. .  His upcoming film is "Laxmi" with superstar Akshay Kumar with the unique role of transgender on screen. Sharad is a versatile actor till now he has performed as the Hero, Comedy, and villain of all types of characters. He himself confirms he like the antagonist character. Sharad is married to the Actress Keerti Gaekwad, who worked together in the serial Saat Phere-Saloni Ka Safar. 

1.     Fitness Instructor: Initially shared was a fitness trainer in a spa.

2.     Modeling: Mr. Sharad Kelkar has participated in the contest of "Mr. India" - Grasim 2004. He was one of the finalists in the contest. Thereafter he got the offers from the modeling and he has done 25 ramp shows in a month. 

3.   Acting in TV: Sharad debut TV acting from the serial "Akrosh" in 2004 which is aired on Doordarshan. His performance was appreciated in the serial and he got recognition. Thereafter other director and serial maker approached his for serials. After that, he becomes eminent and appeared in many serials and series. He acted in the serials like bhabhi, CID, Sindue there Naam Ka, Bairi Piya. He becomes more famous from the serial "Uttran" in 2011. Thereafter he becomes part of many Marathi films like "Sangarsh Yatra", "Rakshas", "Madhuri", and "Youngraad" in 2018. He also participated in a web-series The Family Man, Rangbaaz Phirse. 

4.     Acting in Films: Sharad debut in the Hindi Film "Hulchal" in 2004 as Dr. Sattu. In 2005 he acted in the Marathi film “Uttarayan”. He has appeared in the Marathi film "Chinu" as Raj in 2012 and become a prominent actor in the film industry. Next to it, in 2013 he performed for the comic role in the film "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela" by Sanjay Lila Bansali. He appeared as the main antagonist in the film "Lay Bhari" as Sangram in 2014 and established himself. Sharad is eminent for the role of Shivaji in the movie “Tanhaji” in Jan 2020. Now recently played the role of a transgender in the upcoming film "Laxmi".

5.     Dancing: Sharad also participated in the dance competition show Nach Baliye-2 with Keerti in 2006. Sharad and Keerti married in 2005. 

                  

6.     Comedian: Sharad participated in comic roles for the film Halchal, 1920-Evil Return, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, and Baadshaho. IN 2010 he participated in the comedy serial "Comedy Circus Mahasangram" with Bharti Singh and Paresh Ganatra. 

7.    Hosting: Sharad has hosted many shows like Rock-N-Roll in 2007, Pati Patni Aur Who in 2009. He also hosted a show Shaitan - A Criminal Mind in 2012. 

8.    Voice Dubbing: Sharad has God gifted his strong and fabulous voice. Since 2014 he has dubbed many popular English movies in Hindi. Few as Down of the Planet Apes, Gaurdians of the Galaxy, The fate of the Furious, X-Man and many others. Only a few know Sharad has dubbed "Bahubali" Hindi version. In the film Bahubali, Sharad has given the voice of lead actor Prabhas.

Overall He have attractive personality and studious towards work. Due to his behaviour and respects towards older he is getting more and more works with renowned directors and he is in good list of the prominent actors.
